Intro

Balsamic Honey Brussel Sprouts are the first Brussel sprouts that I have ever made in my life.  I’ve had Brussel Sprouts I would say maybe 2 or 3 times in my life.  Let me explain.  My mother who did the majority of the cooking in my family grew up in a house where you had to finish everything on your plate.  Brussel Sprouts were apparently a staple for family meals.  My Mom to this day hates them.  HATES THEM!  I sent her a picture of my recipe here and she was appalled.

I understand her hate for food.  I myself don’t love onions, so I avoid them like the plague.  I, however, will eat them if I must.  She would never touch a Brussel Sprout!

Now that I have talked up Balsamic Honey Brussel Sprouts.  This recipe is easily executed and I found the flavors to be tremendous.  I have been looking for more vegetables to add to my meals and Balsamic Honey Brussel Sprouts paired very well with my steak dinner on this particular night.  On this night I also added some diced potatoes to the pan while I cooked up the Sprouts.  I hope you find them to be equally enjoyable!  Just don’t offer them to my Mom.

Men you can do this!
