Beefy Bacon Spinach Dip

Intro

Beefy Bacon Spinach Dip is a different take on your regular spinach dip.  This one is BEEFY and has BACON!  If you need a filling dip with some fun spinach dip flavor, give this one a go.  Nothing crazy with Beefy Bacon Spinach Dip it’s just a good deep that works well with pretty much any type of chip, but my recommendation would be a Frito Scoop chip or a toasted bread style chip.  Make Beefy Bacon Spinach Dip next time you have buddies over!

Ingredients

  • 3 Slices of Bacon
  • 1lb of Ground Beef
  • 8oz Cream Cheese
  • 8oz Frozen Spinach
  • 8oz of Artichoke hearts
  • 14oz Cheddar Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.
  2. Chop up the bacon into smaller pieces and cook them over medium heat in an oven-safe skillet. I used a Cast Iron Skillet because, in my opinion, they are the best.
  3. Break up your Ground Beef and add it to the pan after the bacon becomes crispy.
  4. Cook the beef until it is brown seasoning with salt and pepper and then reduce the heat on the stove to very low.
  5. Chop up the Artichoke Heart and Cube the Cream Cheese. Also prep your frozen spinach.
  6. Add these items to the skillet and turn up the heat to medium again.
  7. Mix all of these items with a small amount of the shredded cheddar for 4-8 minutes in the skillet.
  8. Once mixed well top the dip with the shredded cheddar and place in the oven.
  9. Cook in the oven for 15 min.
  10. Remove from the oven and serve with some chips or toasted bread chips!
