Easy Mini Cinnamon Buns

Intro

Easy Mini Cinnamon Buns are just that super easy and enjoyable.  How easy are they?  As easy as your Mom!  Yes, I just used a Mom joke.  You are now engaged or moving directly to the ingredients and directions. Either way, I’m amused by myself and I’m happy.

Six total ingredients for this one and maybe with cook time take about 45 minutes.  Easy Mini Cinnamon Buns are great for us lazy Sunday morning sweet tooth breakfast fanatics.  Don’t need to make your own dough you are going to use crescent rolls from the store and modify them into these amazing sugary breakfast bun!  The nuts on these are for a little crunch.  I’d suggest the walnut and also chopping them up.  The topping is pure enjoyment.  Once out of the oven they smell fantastic and then you get to do my favorite part of this…Flip the contents of your pan on a platter and reveal those Easy mini cinnamon buns.  Give these a shot!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tubes of Crescent rolls
  • ¾ Cup of Sugar
  • 2 Tsp of Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ Cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1 Stick of Butter
  • 1/3 to ½ Cup of Nuts (You Choose!:  Suggestions:  Walnut, Almonds, or Pecans)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Chop up your nuts of choice and set them aside.
  3. In a small pot melt the butter with the brown sugar until you get a Carmel-like mixture.
  4. Pour this into an 8 inch round pan or a 9 by 9 pan.
  5. Place your nuts evenly into this pan and set this aside.
  6. In a small bowl mix your sugar and ground cinnamon.
  7. Roll out a tube of your crescent rolls. Once rolled out go ahead and seal the seams and perforations with your fingers.
  8. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top of the rolled-out crescent rolls.
  9. Roll up the crescent rolls and cut them into 8 equally sized pieces.
  10. Repeat this process with the 2nd tube of crescent rolls giving you a total of 16 mini buns.
  11. Place the buns into the pan with the sugary mixture.
  12. Place the Pan into the preheated oven.
  13. Cook for around 15-20 minutes. At the 15 minute mark, you want to check in on the buns and watch to see what level of brown you want your buns to be.
  14. Once done remove from the oven and let them cool for around 5 minutes then take a serving platter to place it over the pan. Flip this over and then lift the pan to reveal the awesomeness that is your easy mini cinnamon buns.
  15. Plate 3 and enjoy with a coffee or tall glass of milk.
