Men Can Cook Chef Level: Featherweight
Intro
I had made these to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day this year. I was going to save it for halfway to St. Patrick’s Day in September to post, but since COVID-19 has us on lockdown I’m posting it early! Just going to get right to the recipe that is simple and very enjoyable! Below are links to my two favorite Irish Whiskeys!

Ingredients
- 4 Cups of mini Nilla Wafers
- 2 Cups of Walnuts
- A cup of Irish Whiskey
- A Cup of Cocoa
- A Cup of Powder Sugar
- ½ Cup of Lite Corn Syrup
Directions
- Break down the Walnuts into smaller pieces and place them in a bowl.
- Add half of the Irish whiskey to the Walnuts. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the Walnuts soak for 2 to 3 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread the walnuts over the cooking sheet and reserve the leftover whiskey for later.
- Roast the walnuts for 15 minutes in the oven.
- While the walnuts are roasting put the mini Nilla wafers into a gallon plastic bag. Crush up the Nilla wafers.
- In a large bowl dumb the Nilla wafers. Add in half of the Coco & Powder Sugar. Mix it up.
- Take the Walnuts out of the oven and add them to the large bowl.
- Add the reserved whiskey and the other half to the bowl and mix up everything.
- Add in the Lite Corn Syrup and mix well.
- In another small bowl add in the remaining Coco & Powder sugar. Mix them up well.
- Take a scoop and roll a ball from the large mixing bowl. Take the ball and roll it in the Coco & Powder sugar mix then place the ball on a sheet pan.
- Repeat the last step until you have used up all the mixture.
- Place the sheet pan of Irish Walnut Booze Balls into the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from the freezer and enjoy one! Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
