Intro

Keto Cheese Slabs are just a simple snack that you can make when you are bored and need a little something between meals.  This really takes little time and is such a basic recipe.  Try different seasonings and see what you like.  I did the first batch with onion powder and decided after to try the garlic salt.  I preferred garlic salt, but you can do either.  Give this snack a go when you need one!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup of Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Cup of Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tsp Onion Powder or Garlic Salt

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl mix the egg, cheese, and seasoning together until well mixed.
  2. On a baking sheet place a piece of parchment paper.
  3. Take the mixture and spread it into a square.
  4. Make sure the square is evenly spread and is not too thin.
  5. Place in a preheated oven at 350 F.
  6. Cook this for 15 minutes and then broil the cheese for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. You want to just slightly brown the cheese when broiling, so watch it closely.
  8. Remove from oven and cut into slabs.
  9. Plate and serve with a tomato or marinara sauce.
