Intro
Maple Apple Pork Chops is a simple chop recipe you can do in a single skillet. This is a great recipe and since I’m currently on an animal-based diet it’s perfect. If you are not on a diet I recommend replacing the Maple syrup with brown sugar. You get a much sweeter taste and you know sugar. This also is perfect for a fall season meal. This one doesn’t take long so you can do it on a weeknight with no problem. It could also work for a quick weekend lunch. Give this one a go!

Ingredients
- 4 Pork Chops
- 2 Large Apple
- 1/3 Cup of Maple Syrup
- 1/2 Stick of Butter
- 1 tsp of Cinnamon
Directions
- In a large bowl add the diced apples.
- Put in the Maple Syrup and the Cinnamon on the apples.
- Stir up the apples, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Set this aside for a few minutes.
- In a skillet over medium heat melt a small amount of the butter to prepare the pan for the pork chops.
- Place the pork chops in the skillet and cook the chops for about 3 to 4 minutes per side or until you reach an internal temperature of 145 F.
- Once they are done remove them from the skillet and place them on a plate until needed again.
- Now add the rest of the butter to the skillet and then once it has melted chiefly add in the apple mixture.
- Cook the apples down to your desired softness. I like my apples with a little crunch left but to each their own.
- Once the apples are ready reduce the heat and add the pork chops back to the skillet to mix everything together for a few minutes. This will also heat the pork chops back up a little for eating.
- Remove from skillet and plate. Enjoy your meal!
