Intro
Perfect Pork Loin Bake is a recipe I’ve devised after getting a high-quality pork loin in my Butcher Box. I used to buy the flavored Pork Loin from the grocery store, but now with Butcher Box, I’ve moved on to a more flavorful meal. Perfect Pork Loin Bake has a major step that I’m just learning how to really utilize in my cooking and that is Brining the meat. Since Pork Loin is usually a lean cut of meat this process works amazingly. Brining is simply submerging the meat in a brine solution so that it can absorb extra liquid resulting in a more flavorful and Juicier Perfect Pork Loin Bake! I also utilized a meat thermometer to bake it to the perfect temperature! I recommend using the MEATER it uses an app on your phone to let you know when the Perfect Pork Loin Bake is ready. Let’s just get to the recipe!
Men you can do this!
Ingredients
Brine
- 2lb Pork Loin
- ¼ Cup of Salt
- 4 Cups of Warm Water
- 2 TBS of Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 TBS of Brown Sugar
Rub
- 1 TBS of Chipotle Chili Powder
- 1 TBS of Garlic Powder
- 1 TSP of Salt
- 1 TSP of Onion Powder
- 1 TSP of Smoked Paprika
- ½ Tsp of Pepper
Herbs & Juices
- 1 Lemon for some Juice
- 3 TBS of butter cut up into pieces
- ½ TSP Dried Parsley
- ½ TSP Dried Basil
- ½ TSP Dried Oregano
- ½ Tsp Dried Thyme
- A couple of Bay Leaves
Directions
- Get a 1-gallon plastic bag and pour in the warm water.
- Into the warm water dissolve the Salt, Apple Cider Vinegar, & Brown Sugar.
- Place the Pork Loin into the Brine and leave it in there for 20 minutes.
- While the Pork Loin is Brining preheat the oven to 400 Degrees and prepare the Rub for the Pork Loin.
- In a small bowl mix, the rub ingredients listed above.
- Once the Pork Loin is done Brining remove it from the bag and pat it dry with some paper towels.
- RUB your Meat…NOOO, the Pork Loin with the Rub you made in step 5.
- Place the Pork Loin in aluminum foil and surround it with the butter and bay leaves.
- Then squeeze the lemon juice over the Pork Loin.
- Now sprinkle the Herbs over the Pork Loin and insert your meat thermometer.
- Close up the aluminum foil around the Pork Loin.
- Cook the Pork Loin in the oven until it reaches your desired temperature. I cook mine to an internal temperature of 135 degrees and remove it from the oven to rest for 5 minutes. The 5 minutes rest lets it get to 140 degrees which is a medium-rare result.
- Slice the Pork Loin into pieces and baste the pieces with the juices from the aluminum foil.
- Add in your favorite sides and enjoy!
