Intro

The Devil’s Cola Cake is legit an easy and fun dessert recipe that makes the moistest cake.  Give this one a go for the perfect dessert.  I mean who doesn’t like chocolate and Cola has to be one of the most popular drinks on the planet.  Coca-Cola, Pepsi, RC Cola, or even Rocky Top Cola would work for this one!  Want to know more about soft drinks here is a fun article.  I used Coke Zero this time around because that is usually what I have around the old homestead.  Make this cake, cut a slice for yourself, scoop some ice cream, and enjoy The Devil’s Cola Cake as a treat for a long week.

Ingredients

  • 1 Box of Devil’s Food Cake Mix
  • 4 Eggs
  • ½ Cup of Vegetable oil
  • 1 4oz Pack of Instant Chocolate pudding
  • 8oz of Cola
  • ½ Cup of Butter
  • 3 TBS of Cocoa
  • 16oz of Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 4oz of Cola

Directions

  1. Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl add in the Cake mix, Eggs, Pudding mix, & Vegetable Oil.
  3. With a hand mixer mix the batter while pouring in slowly the first 12oz Cola.
  4. Grease a 13 by 9 pan.
  5. Pour Cake mix into the Pan.
  6. Place Pan into the oven for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the cake.
  7. Remove and cool on a rack.
  8. In a large saucepan melt the butter, vanilla, and cola together.
  9. Once all the butter is melted remove from heat and stir in the powdered sugar to make the icing.
  10. Ice the Cake and let it all cool on the wire rack for about 30 minutes.
  11. Cut, Plate, and serve as you dare! (Devil humor)
